Short track speedskating eventually took Maame Biney around the world to world cups, the world championships and the 2018 Olympics. She’s found plenty of success, too, winning the 500-meter at the 2018 U.S. Olympic Team Trials and claiming back-to-back junior world titles in the event in 2018 and ’19.
