With the COVID-19 pandemic shutting things down and delaying the baseball season until July, Heather had some extra time to take on a new project in 2020. She got connected with the Otter Tail Lakes Country Association located in northwest Minnesota in Fergus Falls and became a copywriter for the association's Otter Tail Lakes Country Magazine.
The Otter Tail Lakes Country Association is a regional non-profit, member-driven marketing and economic development organization. The print magazine is filled with more than 100 color pages of photos, advertisements and stories about various aspects of each city in the county including Fergus Falls, Perham, Pelican Rapids and Parkers Prairie.
