Covering high school sports like basketball, hockey and wrestling were the main tasks during Heather's stint as a sports reporter for the Albert Lea Tribune during the heart of the 2012-13 winter sports season. She learned a lot about sports that she hadn't followed before, like wrestling. She also juggled both the reporting and photography for game coverage, plus wrote a few community news features.
