The 2021 hockey season was delayed because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Play started in January rather than in the fall of 2020. Heather was fortunate to work in the press box for a few games, covering the home opener, writing about the new roster additions for the team and diving into the dynamic play of new Wild forward, Kirill Kaprizov.
