Heather is the Written Rule of Sports. She is a freelance sports journalist for hire located in the suburbs of Minnesota's Twin Cities. She's covered a variety of sports at the professional, collegiate and high school levels, plus she's written plenty of profiles and feature stories about athletes.
From 2015-2020 she worked as an in-game social media coordinator for Major League Baseball, providing in-game coverage for the Minnesota Twins social media accounts (mainly Twitter). She stayed in the same role for 2021 working directly for the Minnesota Twins organization. She's also written eight non-fiction children's sports books. Heather has a journalism degree from the University of St. Thomas with more than a decade of experience working in the field in various capacities. |
